SNEAKERS — 4TH PAIR FREE
Last updated: 5 August 2026
ERRUM (“ERRUM”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates errumbd.com and retail outlets in Dhaka, Bangladesh, selling imported sneakers and streetwear. This policy explains what information we collect when you browse or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can control it. It applies to the storefront, your account, and “Sign in with Google” specifically.
Account information
Creating an account needs very little: your name and a phone number, verified with a one-time SMS code — no password is required unless you choose to set one later. We never collect or store your card details, because ERRUM does not accept card or online payments; every order is Cash on Delivery.
Sign in with Google
If you choose “Continue with Google” instead, Google shares your name, email address, whether that email is verified, and a stable account identifier with us — nothing more. We request only the openid, email and profile scopes: we never see your Google password, and we never request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or any other Google product. If the email Google gives us already belongs to an existing password account, we do not merge them automatically — we ask you to confirm with your password first, so a mistyped or shared email can never hand your order history to someone else.
Orders and delivery
When you place an order we collect the delivery address, phone number, and the items ordered. Outside-Dhaka and sub-Dhaka orders carry a higher courier fee than inside-Dhaka ones — the exact fee for your area is always shown before you confirm. ERRUM requires a small advance payment (currently Tk 300) to confirm an order; a staff member calls or messages you from 01942565664 to arrange it, and the remainder is paid on delivery.
Loyalty points and coupons
If our loyalty programme is active on your account, we keep a running points balance and a history of how points were earned and redeemed. Coupon codes you redeem are similarly recorded against your account so a code cannot be reused beyond its terms.
Automatically collected information
We use a self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) that does not use third-party ad-tracking cookies and never receives personally identifying details — it tells us which pages and products are popular, nothing more. Separately, an anonymous, unnamed cookie lets us show a “You May Also Like” shelf based on recent product views on your device; it is not tied to your identity unless you are signed in, and it never leaves this app.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising, we do not sell it to data brokers, and we do not use it to train any general-purpose AI model.
Every cookie ERRUM sets is functional, not advertising-related:
We share information only where it is needed to run the store:
We never sell your personal information to anyone.
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as reasonably needed for accounting, warranty, and dispute-resolution purposes. Raw browsing/recommendation activity is automatically deleted after 90 days. SMS verification codes are discarded shortly after use and, at most, after one hour.
Passwords are never stored in plain text — we store only a one-way cryptographic hash (bcrypt) that cannot be reversed. All traffic between your browser and errumbd.com is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to customer data inside ERRUM is limited to staff who need it to do their job, and every account change made by staff is logged.
You can review and update your name, phone, and address at any time from your account profile. To request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, contact us using the details below — we will act on a verified request within a reasonable time. Deleting your account does not remove order records we are legally required to keep for accounting purposes, but it does remove your ability to sign in and stops any further use of your profile information.
ERRUM’s storefront is intended for people old enough to place their own orders and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy as ERRUM’s services change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above; continuing to use the storefront after a change means you accept the updated policy.
This policy is governed by the laws of Bangladesh, including the Consumers’ Rights Protection Act, 2009 and the Digital Commerce Operation Guidelines, 2021.
